What is Hospice?
Hospice is a specialized care plan designed to provide support to you and your loved ones during a life limiting illness. It focuses on creating a natural and comfortable experience provided by an interdisciplinary team of experts. Through a range of palliative, medical, nursing, psychological and spiritual care, Desert View hospice gives excellent care, manages symptoms, and provides maximum comfort every step of the way.
Who is Eligible for Desert View Hospice?
All terminal ill patients are qualified for hospice care or patients with a specific decline in condition.
Hospice care is fully reimbursed by Medicare/Medicaid
Most Insurance/HMO Companies include hospice benefit
Private Party arrangements can be made to those who qualify
Where is care provided?
Desert View Hospice provides care all over the Las Vegas/Henderson area! Care is and can be provided anywhere the patient calls home. Whether it's a private residence, an assisted living, or nursing home; our care team will be there to provide and support.

Levels of Care
Routine Home Care
Routine home care is provided in the place of residency. You receive regular visits based upon your specific needs.
Continuous Care
Continuous care is provided at the place of residency during periods of crisis to achieve palliation. In addition to visits, a nurse or hospice aide will provide care
General Inpatient Care
General Inpatient Care is a short-term care plan in an inpatient care facility to provide symptom management that can't be managed at place of residency.
Respite Care
Respite Care is provided if a caretaker/family needs a break/rest from their caregiving duties. A patient may stay in a nursing home or inpatient center for up to five days.
